The Apollo Phantom Steel Iron Shafts are nice stepless profile ultra-lite iron shafts that provide the golfer exceptional feel. Ultra-lightweight iron shafts in a stepless design are rare. The Phantom has an unusually sleek profile, and Apollo has manufactured these to very tight weight tolerances for increased flex consistency. These can help a player generate more club head speed and get more distance, and not lose that desired consistency of steel shafts.
The Phantom has a firmer tip section (firmer than other steel iron shafts of comparable weight) and they can provide added control while producing a nice mid launch angle with no ballooning. The lower balance point of these shafts shift more weight toward the clubhead adding more head feel without having to increase the static weight of the club.
