This quality shaft from Apollo, the Acculite 85, features the very latest in ultra-light steel shaft technology. This Acculite 85 has a weight 20-50 grams lighter than many other steel shafts, and this weight savings provides the feel and distance that players normally find in a graphite offering. The key to this sub-lightweight shaft is keeping the stability of a steel shaft while increasing your clubhead speed with the weight savings you’ll get. Raw weight for the Regular flex is 92 grams, and the stiff is only 3 grams heavier. Many golfers find that the Acculite 85 is as light as they need to go to achieve the best results. The Acculite 75 and the Acculite 85 have been discontinued, however the Acculite 95 is still produced.
