Product Description:
This shaft is, as far as we know, the lightest steel shaft on the market. Some call it sub-lightweight, some call it ultra-lightweight; we just call it the Acculite 75. With a raw weight in the low 80 gram range, (stiff flex is 3 grams heavier than regular) you can assemble your clubs at an even lighter static weight than most graphite shafted irons and at a fraction of the cost of a good quality graphite shaft. This shaft is especially good for those golfers who have a fairly smooth tempo and want to gain some swingspeed or club head speed but don’t want graphite.
A low bend point on the Acculite 75 makes for high launching, accurate shots. This shaft also works well as a low-dispersion (think pinpoint accurate) shaft for hybrid clubs. The Apollo Acculite 75 light-weight steel shaft has the consistency advantage of steel in a graphite weight…. can it get better than this? We submit that it can not! The Acculite 75 has been discontinued. The Acculite 95 is the only Acculite still produced.
